new york city jacks

New York City Jacks provides an outlet to dance, learn, teach, compete and keep house dance culture alive in New York City. 3 judges, a DJ and a host set the stage for not only a competition, but a learning experience.

New York City Jacks aims at bringing the house dance culture from around the world closer and exposing young men and women to this form of dance. The key is to provide an outlet to the youth who have yet to reach the legal age of night clubs to learn this dance form.

This competition is not about egos or fame, it's about a community, a family, a way of life and an UNDERGROUND HOUSE DANCE MOVEMENT.

The New York City Jacks organization is brought to you by Play it Loud! aka Doug Gomez, Henry Maldonado (Son of Sound) and Jaze-Art Remote. With the help of battle DJs Chenzo and P-Funk.
